If you thought the web was a fantastic place to share ideas, connect with friends and help you do more then imagine how it would feel if you realised that you’d only just scratched the surface with discovering what was possible… That the internet could be more than just a browser window. That you could take advantage of a giant network of buzzing processors and chips and get them to interact in new and exciting ways, creating new applications that people use every day to help them do more in their lives.
This was how I felt when Greg Plumbly, a good friend and former colleague pitched the idea of starting an iPhone Development company to me. A few months later and Portable Pixels LTD set up shop in Battersea, London. Two months on and we’re hiring employee number 2. So here’s to all the apps we’re going to build. If you have an iPhone or iPad I’m sure it won’t be long until you’re using one of our apps.
